Haven't been able to tip the drivers for that long. Just get a page that says oops--something's wrong --come back later.
Walmart says it has nothing to do with the tipping process; that goes through a separate organization. It's up to me to contact them.
Whether I know how to or not.
They offer no way to contact this separate entity, and so the drivers are NOT getting tipped.
This is a real problem if something goes wrong with a card or whatever money app you may use.Apparently, they only try to bill the card you used at the time of the order. Never mind if it was lost or stolen. Or if it expired during the three weeks of Oopsies!
That's your (you and the driver's) problem, not theirs.
Also, only allowed up to 14 days to tip, so when that time is up-- Oops - something's wrong-- you ran out of time.
Nyah nyah nyah, to you and the drivers you depend on. (and they are also relying on you to at least try, with no way of knowing that you've been trying.)
I had a problem getting my deliveries to my apartment when I started.
When I accidentally got the order delivered to my front door, I tipped more than minimum, and that problem disappeared. It was amazing.
Now that I haven't tipped for a whole month, they are still delivering to the right address, but they are leaving my order at the top of my steps, on the edge of the porch, instead of by my door.
I don't blame them. I would probably feel and do the same.
For the most part, I don't know these people and they don't know me.
The first Oops happened when it was someone who knows me and I know her. That was 28 days ago, and that's twice the time allowed to make a late tip.
This is embarrassing.
It also makes me angry, since I have no way, other than through WalMart, of contacting people.
